WTT provides widespread free and paid streaming options across digital platforms (e.g., Youtube) and television broadcasters.
On Youtube WTT has an Official Channel which is responsible for streaming live table tennis tournaments. Whether or not you can watch these live tournaments depends very much on the tier of the tournament and your geographical location.
WTT frequently streams Feeder series, Contender events, qualifying matches, and outer-table action for major tournaments for free. You can watch them on Youtube.
But For higher-tier events (like WTT Grand Smashes or WTT Champions), live streams on YouTube may occasionally be restricted in regions where a local television network holds exclusive broadcasting rights.
For example, Now TV (Now Sports) in Hong Kong frequently broadcasts marquee WTT Champions and Smash events live. So people in Hong Kong will be blocked on Youtube to watch these events. However, you can work around wiyh this with a VPV.
Because YouTube live blocks are tied directly to local exclusive broadcasting contracts, smaller markets and territories without active table tennis broadcast deals enjoy the most consistent, unblocked access to the WTT YouTube channel.
So, if you can use a VPN to find an unrestricted region, connecting to servers in smaller or less saturated broadcasting markets virtually guarantees access:
Canada is consistently one of the most reliable servers for watching WTT YouTube streams, as major broadcast rights for table tennis are rarely locked exclusively there.
Smaller European / Nordic Countries (e.g., Iceland, Finland, Estonia, Ireland)
While Western European territories (like France, Germany, or the UK) frequently face stream blocks due to networks like Eurosports or local channels, smaller European nations (e.g., Iceland, Finland, Estonia, Ireland) often retain full YouTube access.
Smaller Asian & Pacific Nations — Territories without localized sports distribution networks usually have default, unblocked YouTube access to all tables.
My experience:
I frequently use Proton VPN extension or Firefox built-in VPN
The servers that I use are: Netherlan (most reliable), USA, Australia, Saudi Arabia.
